Wedding Bells.— A pretty wedding was celebrated at the Church of Christ, Waimea stieet,on New Year's Day, the contracting parties being Elsie, eldest daughter of the late William Frederick Barr of Greenwich, England, and Robert Barron, third son of John Henry Witty, of Highgate, England. The ceremony was conducted by the Rev.^J. J. Franklyn, the choir rendering appropriate hymns. The bride looked charming in a silver grey voile dress and pale chiffon hat, and was attended by Miss Edie Pitts and Miss Elsie Combes as bridesmaids, who were dressed in simple taste in white, with pink hate. The church was tastefully decorated, and the bride and bridesmaids each carried shower bouquets. Mr Harry Page of Nelson, as best man and Mr David Ferguson, of Auckland as, groomsman, supported the bridegroom.
