Masterton, January 2. The Wairarapa races concluded today. During the day £7575 was put through the machine, and £16,730 for the two days, as against £16,725 lasfc year. The results were : — Juvenile Handicap: Mabuta 1, Strathf illan 2, Simplex 3 ; also started— Thera. Won all the way ; time 1,2 3-5: dividend, £1 16s. Tawha Hack Handicap: White Lie 1, Truthful 2, Devonia 3; also started— Sen Sim,'""Lavinia, La Torpedo, Clem, Little Sister. Won by three parts of a length; time 1.30; dividends, £2 lis and £1 10s. Racing Club Handicap: Royal Blue 1, Probable 2, Silken Rein 3; also started — Jolly Friar. Won by a length after a grand finish ; time 1.56 2-5; dividend, £4 17s Wbarepu Hack Welter: Compass 1, Naphtha 2, Sandix 3; also ran — Lavinia, Tangerine, Hatley, Hoity Toity, Arahura, Lebeccio. Won by a length and a half; time 1.43 4-5; dividends, £4 5s and 17s. Ruamahanga Hack Handicap : Tupono 1, Stepmark 2, Oulminator 3; also started-ruPytchley, Marseillaise Flint Gun, Sweet Lethe, Lady Pet, Sea Yarn.
