FIRE AT KARANGAHAKE.

Auckland, September 17. 4 Crosby's Hotel, KarangahakP, owned by W. S. Montgomery, has been destroyed by fire, also the Volunteer Hall adjoiniag the hotel. Tbe hotel was insured for £1200, and the stock and furniture, etc., £850 in the New Zealand Company.- The Volunteer Hall was owned by Mrs Montgomery, and was insured in the New Zealand Company for £250.
