The Alexander and Kennedy have been detained at Greymouth since the 2nd inst. The Charles Edward is expected to leave Westport for Nelson to-day, and is announced to sail for Wellington direct to-morrow at 8 p.m. The Waverley is due at Greymouth to-day, and is to proceed thence to Picton. The Lily sails for Motueka at 8. 30. to-morrow morning, returning on the same tide ; The Afahura only arrived at "Westport at noon yesterday, after a27 hours' passage frcm Nelson. As the weather on the Coast is still bad, it i8 possible she will be late on returning here. There have been nd Shipping movements at Greymouth Since Monday week; The Rotmti sailed for New Plyniopth'and Onehunga at 10 o'clock last night. The Pateena arrives from Pictori and Wellington this morning, and j sails at 10.30 a;ni. -on the return tfip.
