OUTBREAK OF PRISONERS.
Received May 6, 11 a.m. Shanghai, May 5. Fif ty|long sentence prisoners at the Municipal Gaol, Shanghai, armed themselves with tools and swords and attempted to escape. They woundad Mr Blennerhasset, Governor of the gaol, and two Indian warders. The Governor shot a noted brigand named Vayaomao dead, and another Chinaman waa killed. Several were wounded. The trouble has been quelled.
