ACCIDENT ON SHIP— BRAVE RESCUE.
Received" February 19, 81.0 p.m/ Sydney, February 19. The barquentine Hirer Hanter was being towed out of harbour »n route for New Zealand when the tackle carried away and a block struck and injured two seamen—Everett and Wilson. The former was knocked overboard, but the mate, Mr Standen, pluclsily rescued him.
