STRACHAN— BAIGENT. At All Saints' Church yesterday morning, a quiet, but very pretty wedding took place, the contracting parties being Mr David Anderson Strachan, At. A.. lnspector of Schools Marlborough Education District, and Miss Jessie Florence Baigent, second daughter of Mr Henry Baigent, Mayor of Nelson. The Rev. W7 S. Lucas, Vicar of All/ Saints, was the officiating clergyman. Tbe bride, who was given away by her father, was charmingly attired in an ivory merv satin, " with empire bodice, rrimmed with beautiful Parisian lace and chion. She also wore the usual veil and oiange blossoms, and carried a beautiful shower bouquet made by Mr John Hale, a present from the -bridegroom.
