Received September 13, 7.32 p.m. Sydney September 13. The weather was fine for the races, and the attendance good. The results were: — Hurdles : Crisis 1, Paragon 2, Satinvader 3. Won by a length. Craven Plate: Gladsome 1, Marvel 2, Lock Emir 3. W° n a bead. Suburban Handicap: A raxes 1, Sutherland 2, jßoyal Arthur_3. Won by a length and a half. Grantham Stakes: Suu God 1, Jargon 2, Binnia 3. Won easily by a length and a half. Wycombe Stakes: Isolt 1, Canteen 2, Roller 3. Isolt and Famous led to the straight, where the New Zealander drew out, and won by two lerjgths. Sydney Handicap: Elvo 1, Panama 2, Tatterdemalion 3. Won by a length. ■ Received September 14, 1,6 a.m. Mr Stead presented the Jockey Club with 100 guineas to provide a cup as a prize for the Spring Stakes next year. The club elected him a life member.
