MUDDY ROADS.

To the Editor. Sir,— l see by the paper that Mr Rout is calling tenders for carting 1000 more loads of earth from his pit in the Wakapuaka road. Now, considering that the part of the road these carts travel over is already' a mass of mud holes and ruts, let us hope the Road Board will see that something is done towards repairing the road before more carting is done, or else no resident in Wakapuaka will be able to get to town at all. " Yours etc., C. H. COOTE, • >- - "Mountrath."
