FATAL TRAM ACCIDENT.

Dunedin, September 12. Thomas White, 15^ years of age, who was employed by the Mornington Borough Council to oil the pulleys along the Borough cable tramway here, died to-day, from injuries received through being struck by a moving car. White was down the manhole in front of the carshed, and was apparently in the act of rising when the car, which was being tranferred from the up to the down line, Btruck him. He was biully f rushed about the chest and body and he died at 1 o'clock.
