WAYS AND MEANS.
The following notices of motion } were given. :— i Or Everett to move :— • ' That a poll be taken of the ratepayers in the County for the purpose of raising a loan of £60CO under the 'Local Bodies' Act, 1901,' for reinstating various bridges on the trunk lines throughout the County." Cr Beuke to move: 'That the | Council consider ways and means for repairs and reinstatement of bridges within the County; will (2) That all works that cost more, than £5 to construct , be tendered for; (3) That one of the road machines owned by the Council be sold ; (4) That the question df utilising the stone-crußher to the best advantage be considered.
