! We have to announce the death of . :Mr Th.omas;Shirtcliff, which occurred at his residence, Waimea Road, early on August 31st. Deceased was taken ill with a seizure sonrn weeks ago, and although slightly J better for a time, he gradually i 1 sank, and died as above stated. I [ There are not a few of our readers who will learn with sorrow of the death of Mrs Percy H. Adams, which occurred on Aug. 31st. Some little time ago, wlion on a visit to England, taken to see her son, who went to the University, the deceased lady wasjjtaken seriously ill, and Mr Adams was summoned to the Old Country by Cable. After her return Mrs Adams improved in health, but of late her condition had changed for the worse. Mrs Adams, who was a prominent member of the Harmonic Society, was a daughter of the late Mr Charles F. Watts and of Mrs Watts. There will be general sympathy with Mr Percy Adams and i his son in their bereavement.
