} A conference^ officers commanding units is being held to consider certain Volunteer matters prior to the assembly of a conference of officers commanding districts in Well ington this week. Captain Bryant 3 is representing the Ist Nelson In fanry Batttalion, Major Monce the ' 2nd Infantry Battalion, Captain Madigan the Artillery, and Captain r A. F. Trask the Mounted Infantry. The battalion parade will be held on Wednesday evening, when a number of medals are to be distributed.
