Thiß match was played in the Botanical Eeserve on Saturday afternoon, and reaulted in a win for the Nelson Club by 24 runs. Nelson ■cored 51 and 35, and tho Stoke 49 and 16. F. Dixon 18, E. Neale 16, Fowler 9 not out. for Nelson, and W. Eramner 14, L. Heath 11, for Stoke, batted best; while F. Franklin 4 wickets for 13, and 8 for 4, Hesseltiae 4 for 18, E. Neale 2 for 12, Fowler 1 for 12, bowled for Nelson. Norgate 5 for 17 ; and 3 for 10, Gibba 2 for 7, G. Heath 3 for 32 and 4 for 12 bowled for Stoke.
