COURT OF ENQUIRY.

At the conference of unit com* manders, on Saturday night, the following resolution was passed: — , "The Officer Commanding the District and officers commanding units of the Nelson Volunteer Districtdesire to express their deep sympa- , thy and condolence with the relatives of the late Mr C. Mills in their sad bereavement." The Officer Commanding the District has constituted the following officers a Board of Enquiry to enquire into the accident:-— Major C. Morice, officer commauding 2nd Nelson Infantry Battalion (Greymouth), president: Major Broad, officer commanding Cadet Battalion ; Captain Madigan, officer commanding H Battery; Captain Stiles, officer commanding Nelson Rifles. The Court will assemble to-day.
