At the annual meeting of the School Committees Conference resolutions were carried in favor of altering the present system of representation on the Education Boards, and recommending that Otago be divided into electorates. The Metropolitan to return three members, and North, South, and Central Otago two members each. The principle of a superannuation scheme for teachers was endorsed.
