SALVATION ARMY BIORAMA CO.

The famous Biorama Company of the Salvatiou Army passed through Nolsou yesterday on their way to Motueka, where they were to show last night and again to-night, returning to-morrow to fulfil their Nelson engagements. The Company numbers twenty performers, and is under the direction of ati old Nelson identity in the person of Major Joe Perry, v/ho V7a3 the first officer to start Army work in Nelson over twenty years ago. Right through the South Island and the West Coast they have experienced an unparalleled run of success. The Major has just come from an extended trip to the Old Country and the Continent, and has brought with him an unlimited supply of the latest and most up-to-date machinery and pictures, which nave gained unstinted plaudits from the press wherever shown. For dates and prices see advertising columns. On Wednesday evening, owing to the temporary breakdown of the railway, the Company arrived late at Richmond, and therefore could not show the pictures. A capital musical programme was given however, and the large audience was well satisfied.
