THE GAMBLING EVIL. The "Wairarapa Leader" says:— The work which lies before the re- ! formers in connection with the gambling evil, is'it great work. Men and women, boys and girls are going down rapidly before this advancing Juggernaut of our so-called civilisation. Every well wisher of New Zealand will join with those who have set themselves to the task of reform, and we sayfto every man and woman who is inspired by the feeling of right and reason in this matter : ' ' Come over and help us. ' '
