DEATH OF AN OLD THAMES RESIDENT.

Thames, March 12. , Information has been received by the Police that John Gunn, a gumdigger at the old man Sandy's camp, near the Thames, ha? been found dead. It is believed that death was caused by the fall of a tree. The deoeased was an old resident of the district, and he carried out some of the first contracts after the Thames field was opened. The Coroner and Police proceed to the spot, where an inquest will be held, as it would be a very tryiag task to bring the body to the Thacaes.
