Dunedin, January 5. Mr H. D. Bedford, M.H.R., ti . senior member for the city, addressc * the electors to-night. Despite steady rain about 200 were presen He announced his intention of pa; 1 ing a visit to the Home ' Countr; ! and said he would speak on his n turn on the fiscal question. H . speech was largely devoted to crifr ' cism of the administration of tt Government, which he declared wi \ characterised by perfidy, treacher; and corruption. He asked the peop of Dunedin to give him a mandai fight against this corruptioi which must be put down at wha ever cost. A vote of thanks an wishing Mr Bedford God speed Wi 1 passed unanimously.
