Leader Opposition Honored.
Auckland, December 14,
A banquet to Mr Massey, Leader of the Opposition, was held to-night, when there was a large and influential gathering, including Sir Wm. Russell and a number of members of Parliament. Complimentary speeches were made, and Mr Massey replied, dealing with;; the work of last session and other matters, defending the action of the Opposition.
