Passengers: Misses Hill, Rains, Messrs Burford, Jackson, and 4 steerage. The steamer Kennedy met with an accident when leaving the Albion wharf on Saturday night for West Coast ports. As soon as her engines were started abead the port propellor struck some object, which it is generally supposed was the anchor of the Harbor Board's dredge. The smash completely disabled the port propellor, and it is also probable that tbe shaft is bent. The steamer was brought back to the wharf under the starboard engine, and the necessary repairs will be taken in hand to day. The Charles Edward leaves Wellington to-day, and is due here to-morrow morning. She proceeds to West Coast ports at 2 p m. The Waveiky sailed for Greymouth on Saturday at S p.m. The Wainui sailed for West Coast ports yesterday morning. The Haupiri arrived from Westport last night, and sails at 1 p.m. to-day for Picton and Wellington. Tbe Rotoiti will arrive from Wellington this morning, and sails at midnight for Taranaki and Manakau. The Tasman sails for Motueka and Picton at 9.30 this morning. The Wairoa sails for Golden Bay at 6 o'clock to-night. The Lady Barkly sails for Golden Bay at 7.30 to-night.
