Methodist Conference.
Christchurch, March 9. The Methodist. Conference met in representative session to-day to dis-
cuss Sunday school reports. The i Wellington Synod ?s recommendation [that cottage Sunday shools be estabQ lished where ordinary Sunday school cannot be conducted was agreed to. It was resolved that superintendents of districts be requested to take ;measures to fittingly commemorate the bi-centenary of John Wesley's ; birth, on June 17th, 1903; that central and district committees be appointed to co-operate with other ;churche3 for. the purpose of selecting ia Bible text-book for v.se in the State jschools. of- the Colony, and to take jsuch other steps as may be deemed (expedient to promote the interests of ithe movement.
