For the second day's races the weather was fine, but the track" was heavy from the previous day's rain The results were : — Westport Coil Company's /Handicap: Hypnotist I, Petroline 2. . Artillery Maid and Sensation also ran, Sensation tell, and Ldnjf, the rider, sustained some slight bruise! on the head. Dividend, £3 I**. Charleston Hack : Country Maid 1^ Onutae 2 : dividend £8 is; Buller Handicap : Aide-deCamp " 1, San Foin 2 ; dividend £1 17s, Flying Handicap ' Petroline 1, Regret 2 ; dividend £2 17a. Mdkihinui Hack Handicap : Ixia 1, Dede 2, Tbe Pearler also ran, but fell at the back of the course. Dividend £3 2s. County Plate*. Dialogue 1, Onutae 2. Regret also rah, but fell heavily when entering the straight, and rolled on Stratford, the rider, who sustained some bruises about tbe head and a severe shaking, but otherwise escaped injury, Dividend £2 17s. Farewell Handicap : Seabreeze 1, Aide-de-camp 2: dividend £3 9s.
