Men Locked Out.
Auckland, March 5.
The furniture trade lock-out does, not include all the men employed at the trade, but a hundred men are idle. The position is that the employers have retained the men whom they think are worth the Is 3d anhour awarded by the Arbitration, Court, and dismissed all others. The award raised the wages from Is Id to Is 3d per hour, which the Unioa contend is the rate paid in the South.
