Death by Drowning.
Dunedin, March 3. A yoqng man named Daniel Weatherall, aged. 22. years, was drowned while bathing near Roxburgh. He, entered a pond made by the Teviot dredge, about 20 feet across; He jumped in, and when half way across, he threw up his bands and sank. A yonng man named John Grant, who went to his rescue, waa caught; round the neck by Weatherall, and pulled nnder the water, but managed to free himself. Three hours elap3ed;J>efbre WeatheralTs body was recovered He was a married man, and had one child. .
