Received March 3, 8.30 p.m. Melbourne, March 8. The following were the results at races to-day : — Hurdles: Yusilette 1, Shoddy 2, Nansen 3. Won easily. Ascot Vale Stakes: Emir 1, Czar 2, Ovitch 3. Won by a length, and a quarter. Australian Cup : Great Scot 1, Adjuster 2, Acraisa 3, Ten started. Won easily by two and a half lengths. Abundance was fourth. * Steeplechase : Freedom 1, Kaimate 2, Kiola 3. Won_ by six lengths. Bourke" Handicap: Mairp 1, Sir Leonard 2, Purser 3. Won easily. Junior Handicap : English Rose 1, Sinnang 2, Martinique 3. Won easily.
