Received March 3, 11.26 p.m London, March 3. A barque, showing distress signals) was seen at ten on Sunday night to strike' the Prisons Rocks> .off .the coast of Cornwall* tt is believed to be a German vessel from a portion of the word "Hamburg?' on a life belt which! was washed ashore, with pieces of cases and casks addressed to New Zealand. It is undoubted that her crew perished. Th& lifeboat and coastguard, searched the coast for j hours for them.
