WAKAPUAKA.
At a meeting of householders held at Hillside on Monday evening the following were elected members of the School Committee — Messrs G. Harper (Chairman pro tern and Secretary), W. Gill, H. Weller, C. H. Martin, G. Frost, W. H. Alborough, and "W. H. Close. A motion to decline to elect a committee as a protest against the reduction of allowances for school committees was lost.
