COUNCILOR HUNTER.
At the close of tfce meeting of the Cifcy Council on May 9* his Worship the Ma^or said he had received the resignation of Councilor Hunter. He" spoke in the hi shest5 hest ternis of appreciation of the servvn.es of Councilor Hunter, and said he yrqs sure he voiced the opinions of the Councilors when he said he was sorry he was "•oin^ away, but Shat they wished him all happiness and prosperity; Councilors Harley, Akersten, Fairey, Webley, and Gray spoke most eulogistically of the services of Councilor Hunter, and that Counicilor expressed his appreciation of their kind references, and said he would always regard the interests of Nelson as though he continued to be with them.
