Colonel Monro, of Bethune's Horse, after two hours' hard fighting near Dewetzdorp, captured 80 Boers, including Commandant Breslau ahd Lieutenant Lindeyne, of the Staats Artillery. The Kimberley column had a fight between Jacobsdal and Koffyfontein. The War Office has ordered that offioers or soldiers displaying the while flag shall be court-martialled. Two hundred rebels under Commandant Froneman have reached Khama's country, having crossed German West African territory en route. Beblin, April 12. The Capetown correspondent of the " Frankfurter Zeitung " describes the position of the Boers as desperate.
