TROUBLE IN 'CHINA.
[By Telegraph.] * (Per United Press Association.) • The Demands of the Allies, London, November 5. Li Hung Chang, the Chinese Plenipotentiary, has asked all the Viceroys and Governors to participate in the guarantee for the indemnity to the Powers. Foreign Ministers at Pekin approve of the proposal that besides approving of the demands contained in the French Note, China shall prohibit applications for membership of the Boxers Society for two years, and make all officials responsible for the safety of Foreigners.
