It must be assumed that this argument was made subject to ratification by the bodies concerned, for we learnt ?e)terday that at a meet ing of the Seamen's Union held at Wellington on Thursday nigbt, it was decided not to concede anything up'm the award of tho Conciliation Coutt. A Press Association telegram received last night, however, indicates that the seamen ere williDg to accept the award.
