Chbistchurch, Maroh 4 Tbe annual report of the Committee of the Canterbury Agricultural and Pastoral Association stated that the Association's capital shows a surplus of £4,688 over liabilities. The report refers regretfully lo Mr P. Cunningham's death, and to the resignation of Mr D. Craig as treasurer. Satisfaction is expressed at the cbaoge in tho control of the Lincoln Agricultural College. Ihe financial return of last winter's show were stated to abou balance the outlay, and tha Committee hope that the chow of May next will bo still more satisfactory. Tbe results of tbe November show were highly satisfactory, the takings (£992) beiog the bigheßt on reoord.
