[Bf T__EGB_PH.j Chbistchuboh, September 29 At the annual meeting of the New Zealand Crioket Counoil, the eleotion of officers resulted as follows:— President, Mr H. D Bell (President of WeUington Crioket Association) ; Vice-Presidents, Messrs F. Wilding (Oanterbury), C. Enapp (Wellington)), J. Bußsell (Auokland), A. Cross (Southland), Oapt. Cornwall (Taranaki) ; hon Secretary, Mr 0. R Smith (re-eleoted) ; bon Treasurer, Mr T. D. Harman. It was deoided that the inter-Island matoh Bhould be dropped this geaßon owing to tbe visit of tbe N.S.W. team.. It waß resolved tbat two New Zealand matoheß be played against New South Wales, one in Ohristohuroh, and one in Wellington, lt wbb resolved that the Auok-* land, Wellington, Canterbury and Otago Asaooiationß obtain guarantees up to £50 eaoh, to defray any lopb whioh might arise on the toar. The following draft of interprovinoial matohes for this season Was adopted for recommendation to various Associations, as ander visits to be returned in the following year:— Auokla*d jilay Wellington and Hawke'B Bay at Auokland, Taranaki plays Hawke's Bay and Nelaon at Taranaki, Wel" lington plays Canterbury at Wellington, and Hawke'a Bay at Napier, Nelion plays Marlborough at Nelson, Otago pla>s Soutland at Inveroargill, Oanterbury plays Otago at Dunedin and Christohurcb, and at Dunedin next year. A hearty vote of thanks was passed to the retiring president, Mr B. H. Williams for his servioes to the Counoil for the past BBBBOD. r
