Captains Lambert and MoLean, of tbe ss Wainui and Mawhera respectively, yeaterday declined the services of Mr Cox, the acting pilot, aad brought their vessels into harbor themselves. We are pleased to be able to state that Mr Low, tha harbormaster, was considerably better yesterday. The Waverley is due from Wellington this morning, and sails at noon for Weat Ooaßt ports. The Charles Edward leaves Westport this morning for Greymouth. The Murray leaves Westport to-night for Nelson, and sails at 3 p.m on Friday for Wanganui. The Aorere leaves Patea to-day for Wellington. The Kennedy is due from Westport this afternoon, and Bails for Weliington at 2 p.m to-morrow. The Lady Barkly returned from Golden Bay last evening, and sails for Motueka at ten tbis morning. The Lily leaves for Motaeka at 9.40 this morning. The Wainui arrived from Wellington at 10.30 a.m yesterday, and sailed at 12.15 p.m for Pioton and Wellington. She returns here to-morrow morning, a-d s-ils at noon for Greymouth. The Mawhera arrived from Fioton and Wellington at 11 a.m yesterday, and sailed an hour later for West Coast ports. The Grift on returns from the West Coast this morning, and sails at 11 a.m for Wellington. The Omapere will not call bete to-day. She prooeed* direot from Wellington to Westport. The Penguin will arrive from Fioton, Wellington, and South to morrow morning, and sail at 2 p.m on the return trip. I
