Establishment of Chinese Quarter.

The Public Works Committee of the Oity Counoil has decided to bring forward a motion that enquiries be made as to whether the Corporation has power to establish a Chinese quarter, end, if not, that steps be taken to obtain that power, and to oompel the Chinese to occupy such quarter, as in Melbeurne and other large oent reft.
