The launoh is a Ecrew steamer, and was built by Messrs Fraser and Tinne, of Auckland, in 1884. She is built of wood, md the bottom is covered with Mantz metal. Her length is 60ft between perpendioalara and 63ft over alt. The breadth ia 13ft 9 in from outßide of plank, and depth of hold is 7ft 2in. Her draught if 6ft aft and sft forward. Her gross tonnage is 30*94, and register tonnage 1076. Her engines are compound surface condeneing. The boiler waß made to stand a working pressure of 801 b per square mob. Her oylinders are on the compound surface oondensing inverted oylinder prinoiple. The vessel has lately been on the Patent Slip, Wellington, and overhauled, part of the Muntz metal has been renewed, and a false keel put on her.
