WOOL SALES.
London, May 26. At the wool salea a medium catalogue was offered, and price, remain firm. Continental buyers ate operating freely. Tha Bales closed with good sprit and very firm. Good merinos were at par, and other merinos from a farthing to a halfpenny lower than last series. Long ooarse crossbreds were a k par, while other sorts were a halfpenny lower. Tho number of bale 3 catalogued was 309.800, of whioh 124.U00 were sold to Home buyers. 130,000 for Continent, and Amerioa 20.000 The quantity held over is about 70,000 bales.
