Friendly Insurance Case.
Wellington, May 23. In Banoo yesterday the Chief Justice heard argument in the ease of the executors of the Ute Walter Black, of Kaiti, Gisborne, against the Goveromnt Insurance Commies. oners. This wa3 a fciendly suit to determine how policy moneys should be applied. The deceased had made two apportionments by endorsing his policy, and one of these be sought to revoke by a sabsequent will. The question involved i* of general interest, as if the judgment ia givea for the plaintiff should a person once endorse on his policy an apportionment of insurance moneys it is irrevocable unless he expressly reserves td himself the right of revocation. Judgment wa* reserved.
