Acck'Asd, May 23. At a meeting of rzinisters and the Young Men's Chn?ti°.n Association, Bishnp Cowie presiding, a resolution was carried in favor of amending the Education Act to provide for religi us instruction in the Board schools^ with the Irish National School Book of scripture lessons, a conscience clause for Echolars and teachers, but it was urged as desirable that instruction Bhould ba given by teachers. Bishop Cowie, as Chairman of the meeting, is to communicate with the heads of various denominations, asking tLeui to take steps at ao early date to prepare a memorial to be signed by their people;
