The Baby-farming Case.

At an inquest on tbe Bkeltton fonnd in tbe garden of tbe Larches at Wi ton subsequent to the discovery of tbe two itfant bodies in connection with wbiob Cbar'eß and Minnie Dean are oharged with tbe murder, which was opened tbia afternoon, Sergt. Moronnell eaid a numbar of mothers of children given to Mrs Dean about tbe time she icoeived the one on whose body tbe inquest was being held wouid require to be present, and he asked (or an adjournment. He bad reason to believe that the mother of the deceased was now in Dunedin, and she will have to appear. Evidence would be adduced onoerning the disappearance of other shildren. The inquest was adjourned to June sth.
