LORD HOPETOUN.
London, May 11. The E»rl of Hopetoun waß reoeived on his arrival at Edinburgh with ringing cheers from the people in ths streets and ories of " welcome horn ." Replying to an address from his tenantry he attributed any entices, whioh be had to the cordial cooperation and hearty goodwill of the colonists. The gentlemen of hii county aiso intend to present the ex-Governor with an address.
