WEDDING.

On the 25th of April, at Trinity Presbyterian Churoh, the marriage of Mr Arthur Francis Trask, second son of our worthy Mayor (Mr F. Traak), and Miss Laing, daughter of Mrs David Grant, took place in the presence of a large gathering of spectators. The bride looked charming in a gown of white silk trimmed w.th white lace, veil, and wreath of orange blossoms, and she carried a shower bouquet of chryeaothemums and maiden-hair fern. The bridesmaids were three in number, being Miss Traak (chief), sister of the bridegroom ; Miss Keel, cousin of tbe bride ; and Miss Smith, of Wellington. They wore dainty costumes of cream orepon, trimmed with a beautiful shade of heliotrope si k, with bats of Hulbert velvet trimmed with ceaai roses. Rankin, of the firm of Rankin, Duncan & Rankin, to Miss Edith Ellen Stapes, celebrated on Wednesday last at St Thomas' Church, Motneka, by the Rev. T. Johnston. The wedding festivities were further continued on Wednesday evening, when tbe bride's parents gave a ball in the Foresters' Hall, the Motueka Brass Band turning out and playing in honor of tbe event, Mr Rankin having been an honorary member from its formation. Wedding.— A very quiet wedding took plaoe yesterday at " Mayroyd," the residenoe of the bride's father, when Mr Henry Buokeridge, eldest son of the late Mr Henry Buokeridge, was married to Miss Florence Hamilton, eldest daughter of Mr Francis Hamilton, head of the firm ot Messrs E. Buxton and Co. The ceremony was performed by tbe Rev. Jae. H. MaoKenzie. Among the presents, which were very numerous, wae one from the Young Ladies' Guild of the Pr.sbyterian Churoh, Mrs Buckeriflge having been a prominent member of the Booiety. After spendiog their honeymoon in the country, Mr and Mrs Buokeridge will lewe for their home, near Timaru.
