STOKE ROAD BOARD.
The ordinary monthly meeting of the Bo*rd was heia on Saturday, May 4th, 1895. Present — Messrs W. Coleman (obairmanl, J. G. Bartlett, H. Laokow, Q. Bent; arid A. Allport. The minuses of the previous meeiing were read and confirmed. The Overseer's report was read. Resolved, That the Overseer inspect Smith's road, and report at next meeting. Resolved, That Mr A. Norgate's offer to paint the bridge on the Orphanage road be accepted Radolved, That Messrs Coleman aid Lankow confer with the Waimea County Council as to repairing a bridge on Malcolm's road; also, with the Richmond Borough Council respecting a bridge on Wens'ey road. .Resolved, That the Overseer replace the wooden road pegs with iron pegs in Pocr Man's and Trolove's Valleys. Resolved, That the words " Public Road *' be posted on all gates on by-roads. : Accounts were passed tor the peyment of £27 11b.
