LONDON BANK OF AUSTRALASIA.
London, May 9. The annual repoit of the London Bank of Australasia recommends a dividend ol 5£ per cent on preference shares, and tbr>t £7,863 be carried forward. The report states that the aooounts are again adversely effected by a continuation of the circumstances mentioned in the last report. Further reductions are being made in the expenses, and the Directors express gratification at the reoent b gn? of improvement in Australia, where the profit And loss account showed a credit balance of £12,596.
