Timaru Harbor Board.
Tijiabu, January 16. The Harbour Board election next month is creating much interest. A meeting at Geraldine under the Auspices of the Farmers' Club discussed the policy of the Board, and resolutions were carried that the Board should be guided by engineering advice in matters affecting the safety of the harbour, that an expert should be employed to test the capabilities of the tug dredge and that no candidate be supported who will not carry out those recommendations.
