(PHOM A OOBRESPONDEKf.) ~4 I S2"meniDeffr6i4!ls4&rin.g Grove School Committee having invited the^chTldTen^MJfii?.*.^, parents, and the teachers to meet them in th« aohool ground, a goodly number assembled on Wednesday last for the purposa | of replanting trees where some that were planted on Arbor Day, 1892, had failed. The ■ohool ground consists of four acres, and some 150 choice trees and shrubs have been planted along tho four sides of the ground. All the school children, and a good many others, as well aa the teachers, some of the parents, and all tho members of the Committee assembled at 2p m. It was apparent, however, that bad weather was blowing up from the direotion of the town, and therefora the planting was carried out with tha utmost expedition. After the planting, the children had just time for a few good games, when rain fell, and an adjournment to the school beoame necessary. In the building, biscuits, lollies, and ginger beer were served out in plenty, and a good many cheers were given for Arbor Day. On the young people dispataing, it was evident that they had " enjoyed the •elebrauon fine," as one lad put it, as h« marohid off with a hop fork ore; his shoulder.
