A Holidaz.— To-day being the firßt Monday in August will, we gather, be pretvy generally observed as a holiday in Nelson, and it will be noticed that the railway authorities are offering special inducements to those who elect to spend the day in the Waimeasi Football Matches. — Two very important matohes will take place at tha Park this afternoon, and to-day being a public holiday there will undoubtedly be a large atteadanoo. The Bugby Union have made arrangements for the German Band to be present, and this should prove an additional attraction.
