Imprisoned Bankrupt. [UNITED PBESS ASSOCIATION-] Well inston, September 14. The Chief Justice to-day granted a rule calling on the gaoler at Wellington to show cause to-morrow why Kirk, who was arrested at Auckland, should not be released. The grounds of the motion are that the warrant was issued without jurisdiction, and that it did not appear that any available act of the bankruptcy had been committed.
